Turkish FM's special envoy meets foreign adviser

A special envoy of Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan called on Foreign Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury at the latter's office yesterday.
During the meeting, Special Envoy Ambassador Bahattin Gursoz also handed over a letter from the Turkish foreign minister to the foreign adviser.
Later speaking to the media, Iftekhar said: "Bangladesh and Turkey have historical linkages that date back centuries. Our meeting today covered the total gamut of bilateral relations. We also discussed the possible means of expanding them."
Turkish envoy to Bangladesh Ambassador Ferit Ergin was present on the occasion.
