Humayun's four children visit grave

The four children of illustrious writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed from his earlier marriage visited his grave at Nuhash Palli in Gazipur yesterday.
Bipasha, Nova, Sheela and Nuhash visited the grave and offered prayers there around 2:00pm.
Throngs of fans and admirers of Humayun also came to Nuhash Palli on the holiday yesterday to pay tributes to the master storyteller.
Mohammed Murtoza, a private bank officer from the capital's Mohammadpur, broke down in tears, as he visited the grave with his family and friends.
Rukhsana, a housewife, came from Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh. A tearful Rukhsana said, “I have read many books and watched dramas of my favourite writer. I'm here to pay to respect to him.”
Humayun Ahmed died of colon cancer in a New York hospital on July 19 at the age of 64. He was laid to rest in Nuhash Palli Tuesday.
Humayun's younger daughter Bipasha Ahmed, who was in the USA, arrived in Dhaka with her mother Gultekin Khan on Thursday morning.
