Nafees named Bangladesh A captain

Shahriar Nafees has been named captain of the Bangladesh A team for the Shafi Darashah Invitational tournament that begins on July 27. Rokibul Hasan has been appointed his deputy.
Earlier on July 15, the 15-member squad was announced without a captain or a vice-captain.
The four-day competition which is hosted by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) will feature regional/state first class teams of India. The tournament will run till August 14 in Bangalore
and Mysore.
Pencilled in Group A, Bangladesh will take on Baroda Cricket Association from July 27 to 30, against KSCA from August 1-4 and the last group match against KSCA Colts from August 6-9. The other group includes KSCA President's XI, Mumbai Cricket Association XI, Rajasthan Cricket Association President's XI and Hydrabad Cricket Asscoaition XI.
