An unidentified youth aged around 20 was crushed under the wheels of a train in Gopalpur (Azimnagar) rail gate area under Lalpur upazila of the district yesterday.
Railway police quoted witnesses as saying the youth was run over by Khulna bound Kapotakkha Express from Rajshahi while he was crossing the gate.
Police sent the victim's body to Natore sadar hospital for autopsy.
