Pitha Utshob at Rajshahi University

With participation of teachers, students and staff of Rajshahi University (RU), a day-long pitha utshob (rice cake festival) was held recently.
Rajshahi University Mohila Club organised the function at the club premises on campus.
Around 50 varieties of delicious Bangladeshi pitha were on display at six stalls. The pitha included Nakshi, Dudh Kusli, Ras Chatai, Patisapta, Khirsa, Akhia and more.
A vibrant cultural programme -- featuring poetry recitation, fashion show and short skits -- was held much to the delight of the visitors.
