RCC Community policing launched

Community policing was launched at Ward No 9 under Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) yesterday with a call to making the ward free from drug and terrorism.
RCC acting Mayor and chief adviser of community policing unit Rezaun Nabi Dudu and Officer-in-Charge of Boalia Police Station Ramzan Ali jointly inaugurated the campaign.
The use of drugs will be reduced if people help the police arrest the drug-peddlers and rehabilitate the addicts, speakers said at the programme.
Earlier on Friday, community policing was also launched at Ward No 10 under RCC.
