Wife acid-burnt by husband

A housewife, beaten up and acid-burnt by her husband and his men at Zamirchan village under Koikuri union in Pirgachha upazila on Monday night, is undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
The victim, Rojina Begum, 33, said her husband Mahbubar Rahman alias Babla aided by his brothers Belal and Liton and friend Ronju beat her and poured acid on her face. Police arrested Ronju.
