Dollar strikes 2-month high

The dollar rose Wednesday to a new two-month peak against the yen, supported by the prospect of interest rate hikes in the United States as the economy recovers, dealers said.
Against the Japanese currency on Wednesday, the greenback rose as high as 92.27, the highest since October 27. It later stood at 92.11 yen, from 92.02 on Tuesday.
