EU team meets BDR chief

A six-member team of European Union (EU) met with Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Director General Maj Gen Md Mainul Islam at Pilkhana Headquarters in the city yesterday.
Maj Gen Mainul informed the team that the chain of command of the force, which was destroyed after the February mutiny, has been restored and BDR members are discharging their duties properly as well as enjoying their facilities.
Arnold De Fine Skibsted, Einer H Jensen, Peter Kettner and Anja Roelofs were on the team.
