Pembroke Cricket Club ground in Dublin

After enjoying a brief break and then travelling to Ireland, the Bangladesh team trained on the field for the first time since their arrival at the Pembroke Cricket Club ground in Dublin. The Tigers are set to take part in a practice match against Ireland Wolves on May 5 ahead of their tri-series campaign opener against West Indies on May 7 at the Clontarf Cricket Club. From here on, each match will be a part of Bangladesh’s build-up to the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup in the United Kingdom. Photo: BCB
A 10-over friendly cricket match, jointly organised by the BCB and ICRC, between the BCB Physically Challenged Cricket Team and a squad of former national team players was held at the BCB Academy field in Mirpur yesterday. Although the physically challenged cricketers lost by nine wickets, their love and dedication for the sport lifted the spirits of all who witnessed the game. Photo: Star
