Construction of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Railway Bridge over the Jamuna is going on in full swing. Once built, the 4.8km dual-gauge double-line bridge -- some 300 metres upstream of the Bangabandhu Bridge -- would be the largest dedicated rail bridge in the country. Maria, 13, working at a brick-breaking yard in Shyampur of Dhaka. She was born with an intellectual disability and so, her mother could not leave her home alone during work.
