There was a massive rush in the capital yesterday, on the eve of the government’s 7-day restrictions to curb the recent spike in coronavirus cases. With public transport set to be suspended from today, hundreds of city dwellers rushed to Gabtoli Bus Terminal to go back to their home districts;
others crowded at the Sadarghat Launch Terminal.
A common theme in all the photos taken yesterday is that health guidelines -- social distancing and wearing masks -- were flouted.
