Man with coronavirus-like symptoms dies in Sylhet isolation centre

A 35-year-old man died this morning, a day after he was sent to the isolation centre of Saheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital in Sylhet with coronavirus-like symptoms.

Hailing from Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet, the man was admitted to the hospital on Friday as he had been suffering from fever, cold and respiratory problem, said Dr Sushanto Kumar Mohapatro, a resident medical officer (RMO) of the hospital.

His samples were sent to the laboratory of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College for coronavirus test, our Sylhet correspondent reports quoting the doctor.
