Fully vaccinated travellers coming to Bangladesh won’t need Covid negative report

From now on, fully vaccinated international passengers would not need a negative Covid-19 test report to enter Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, unvaccinated passengers can enter Bangladesh if they carry a negative RT-PCR Covid-19 certificate -- done 72 hours ahead of departure, reads a notice issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.

The notice said that passengers below 12 years of age do not require the negative Covid-19 test report.

The notice further said irrespective of Covid-19 vaccine certificate or negative coronavirus test report, if a passenger shows symptoms on arrival, they would be sent to a government facility for Covid testing. If the test returns positive, they would be isolated at their own expense at a hotel or a government facility.

Thereafter they would be released after seven days of isolation, if the test result comes negative upon testing.

Meanwhile, the outgoing passengers would need to follow the guidelines of their respective destination countries.
