Actress Sohana Saba, who awed the audience with her performance in “Boli”, is now anchoring a celebrity talk show titled “Tarar Mala” on Bangladesh Television. The show will air every Saturday.
“Orphan: First Kill”, the prequel to the popular American psychological horror film “Orphan”, directed by William Brent Bell will be released at all four branches of Star Cineplex on Friday. The film stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Julia Stiles and Rossif Sutherland in the lead roles.
“The Dirty Picture” will soon be returning with a sequel according to the film’s producers, Kanika Dhillon and Ekta Kapoor. “The Dirty Picture 2” is anticipated to have an entirely different plot and cast from the first film, which was based on the life of Silk Smitha.
Alongside her acting career, promising film star Prarthona Fardin Dighi is also continuing her education. Just recently, the actress got admitted to University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in the department of Media Studies and Journalism.
Mahi is making her return to the silver screen with two new films, “Ashirbad” and “Jao Pakhi Bolo Tare”, both of which are directed by National Award-winning director Mostafizur Rahman Manik. These two films will hit the screens in the next three months.
The actress told The Daily Star, "Chanchal Chowdhury is one of my favourite actors. I wanted to watch ‘Hawa’ on the day of its release, however, all of the tickets are sold out.”
