A woman suspected to be showing symptoms of coronavirus was left behind in a forest in Tangail's Shakhipur upazila allegedly by her family members yesterday evening.

Local administration rescued her this morning after locals of Ichhadighi village in Gorai union heard her cries for help and informed authorities, reports our Tangail correspondent quoting Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Mannan.

The 50-year-old was sent to Dhaka and admitted to the isolation ward at Dhaka Medical College Hospital this morning, said Shakhipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Asmaul Husna Liza.
