Zeba Jannat banned from TV dramas 

Actor Zeba Jannat has been banned by the Director's Guild-Television Drama Director's Organisation due to allegations of non-cooperation and misconduct. The guild, through a statement, revealed that Jannat's banishment was effective from tomorrow, citing her failure to address the complaint lodged against her by member Rasheda Akhtar Lazuk.

A letter signed by the organising secretary, Shamim Reza Jewel, highlighted Jannat's ban and emphasised the reasons behind it. "The decision to impose the ban was made based on Lazuk's complaint, which accused Jannat of non-cooperation and unprofessional behaviour in her work. As per the rules and regulations of the Directors Guild, all its members are obligated to abstain from involving Jannat in any television or digital production," the statement read.

Jannat, on the other hand, has levied a series of allegations against Lazuk, even implicating Lazuk's husband, Sajjad Hossain Dodul, a producer and director, in giving unfavourable suggestions. 

These claims have added further complexity to the situation, raising questions about the truth behind the allegations and counter-allegations.

Jannat gained initial recognition through her presence on TikTok and later ventured into the world of television dramas, becoming a regular face on TV screens. Her work in popular dramas like "Cross Connection", alongside Afran Nisho, earned her a significant following, further solidifying her position in the industry.
