Johny Lever on ‘Cirkus’ failure
Renowned Indian actor and comedian Johny Lever has dominated the silver screen through his excellent performances and hilarious portrayals. The actor, recently was a part of Rohit Shetty's directorial film, "Cirkus". However, the film had unexpectedly failed to reach its box office expectations.
Speaking to media outlets, the "Baadshah" famed comedy star stated that creating a film involves heavy investment—both in terms of money and emotion—alongside a lot of effort. As such, every director thinks the best for the film and doesn't want to lose.
According to the actor, their efforts on the film were indeed appreciated, yet there were also some mistakes that led to the project's failure. Moreover, Lever admits that nothing can be done about it now.
"Cirkus" starred Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde amongst others.
After "Cirkus", the star comedian Johny Lever greeted the audience in the comedy series, "Pop Kaun" released yesterday on Disney+ Hotstar, alongside Kunal Kemmu, Saurabh Shukla, Nupur Sanon and the late Satish Kaushik amongst others.
