Depp vs Heard: Netflix set to release infamous trial series
The famous feud between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp defamation trial from 2022 will be released as a Netflix original documentary in three parts.
The three-part documentary series on the Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp trial tries to recount the procedures and analyse the case, particularly the decision to make the trial public. Episodes two and three, in particular, examine how online coverage influenced the trial and how social media reacted to the ruling.
According to a statement, the new series will premiere on Netflix outside the United Kingdom on August 16, 2023.
The documentary series will be released in three parts on Netflix. The good news is that British viewers may now watch the documentary series on YouTube, the Channel 4 website, and the Channel 4 app.
Meanwhile, the ex-couple has moved on. After the trial, Heard relocated to Spain and began a new life with her daughter Oonagh. At the Taormina Festival, the actress made her first public appearance to promote her film "In The Fire." She will also appear in the Aquaman sequel. On the other hand, Depp garnered rave reviews at the Cannes Film Festival for his portrayal in "Jeanne Du Barry."
