Covered van ploughs thru auto workshop killing 3

Three workers were killed and two others injured when a covered van ploughed through an automobile workshop beside Dhaka-Khulna highway at Muksudpur College intersection in Gopalganj district yesterday after its driver lost control over the vehicle, reports our Gopalganj correspondent.
Nur Alam Mollah, 32, of Lohachura village and Sabuj Mollah, 22, died instantly while Rahim Sheikh, 27, of Kamalapur village succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka.
The injured were admitted to a hospital in critical conditions.
Protesting the incident, locals blocked the highway for one and a half hours.
