Rail link of Ctg with Dhaka, Sylhet suspended

Rail communication of Chattogram with Dhaka and Sylhet remains suspended since this noon following repairing work on a railway bridge in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria.

The train services were halted around 12:15pm as a team from Akhaura Railway Station started repairing work of the “old and risky” bridge in Imambari area.

The rail communication might be restored in the afternoon, Shyamal Kanti Das, officer-in-charge of Government Railway Police in Akhaura, told our correspondent.
