Jamaat leader held

Police arrested a leader of Jamaat-e-Islami from Alalpur in Bholahat upazila of the district yesterday afternoon. The arrestee is Golam Kabir alias Golap, 45, ameer of Bholahat upazila unit of Jamaat. On secret information, a police team raided a madrasa in the area and arrested Golap. He was arrested in several cases, said Mohsin Ali, officer-in-charge of Bholahat Police Station.
