Minor girl raped in Jhenidah

A minor girl was raped by a man at Ektarpur village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenidah last night, police said today.  

Police arrested one Moshiur Rahman, 38, this afternoon after the victim’s father filed a case this noon, said Younus Ali, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station.

The victim -- a class-V student of a government primary school – was sent to Jhenidah Sadar General Hospital for medical test, the OC told our Jhenidah correspondent.
