Indigenous youth found dead in Natore

Police recovered the floating body of an indigenous youth from a pond in Diyarvitua area of Natore Sadar upazila yesterday.

The deceased, Malin Pahan, 33, son of Sadharan Pahan of Sankerbhag village in the upazila, was a worker of Pran Agro Ltd.

Officer-in-Charge Moshiur Rahman of Sadar Police Station said villagers found Malin's body floating in a pond around 8:00am and informed the police who recovered the body and sent that to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police suspect that Milon might have slipped into the pond while he was returning home as he had consumed alcohol on Tuesday night.
