Eid-ul-Azha: DCs asked not to allow cattle market on roads, highways

Deputy commissioners have been instructed not to allow any cattle market on roads and highways ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of the Muslims.

Md Nazrul Islam, secretary of Road Transport and Highway Division, told this to journalists after holding a meeting with the DCs at the Secretariat this morning.

He also asked the deputy commissioners to solve very quickly if there any problem arises in acquiring of land in different projects including mega projects as foreign nationals are involved in many of those.
