CU admission seekers can’t sit for 2nd time entry test

Chittagong University admission seekers will not be allowed to sit for entry tests for the second time from 2017-18 academic session.

The university authorities took the decision at a senate meeting recently, Prof Kamrul Huda, acting registrar of the university, told our CU correspondent today.

The university authorities have decided to allow only freshly passed HSC students for the first year admission test from 2017-18 academic session, he added.

Earlier, Dhaka University on October 14, 2014 and Rajshahi University on December 19, 2015 took the same decision aiming to eliminate unequal competition between regular and irregular students, and discourage tutoring at coaching centres.
