Bee sting, nor’wester kill 3 in Magura

At least three people died in three separate incidents in Magura Sadar upazila last night.

The deceased were identified as Atiyar Rahman, 30, Fulori Begum, 55, and Rabuil Islam, 55, all locals of Sadar upazila, our local correspondent reports.

Atiyar Rahman was hit by a tree during storm last night. He succumbed at Magura Sadar Hospital around 11:00pm, said Khairul Islam, in-charge of the emergency ward.

Fulori Begum was struck by lightning. Doctors at Magura Sadar Hospital declared her dead after she was taken there, Doctor Khairul said.

Rabiul Islam was stung by bees when he was returning home. He succumbed at Shalikha Hospital around 8:00pm, a relative of the victim Faruk Hossain said.
