Three labourers were killed and 10 others injured as a truck overturned on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Sadar upazila of Gopalganj this morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

The accident took place when the driver lost control over the steering, leaving two people dead on the spot and 11 others injured in Pathalia area, said Golam Faruk, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station.

Among the injured, one died on the way to hospital.
