15 get sewing machines

Fifteen distressed women got sewing machines free of cost under Social Performance Management (SPM) of RDRS Bangladesh, a non government organisation, at Durakuti village in Sadar upazila yesterday. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shafiqul Islam handed over the machines to the women at the hall room of Mogholhat Union Federation in the area at noon. The receipents got the sewing machines after a month-long training on tailoring, said officials of the NGO.
