Regent Airways plane aborts take-off at Dhaka airport
An aircraft of Regent Airways aborted take-off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka this morning due to some technical glitch.
The incident took place around 11:30am after a minor technical problem occured in the aircraft's landing gear, according to a press release floated to media.
All the passengers, pilots and crews of the aircraft were evacuated safely.
The Regent Airways plane RX-784 has been kept for repairing works.
The passengers continued their journey to Singapore with another aircraft which departed from the airport around 3:00pm, according to the press release.
