Pledge Harbor holds graduation ceremony
After 12 years of formal education, students of twelfth grade at Pledge Harbor International School (PHIS) were declared “Graduates of 2019” on April 20, according to a press release.
This year was special for the school, as it was the first time there were students completing all three tiers of the IB Programme -- Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the IB Diploma.
PHIS is now a full IB World School and is in the midst of getting authorisation for the fourth IB programme, the career-related IBCP.
This will make Pledge Harbor the only school in the country to have all four levels of the IB programme.
Upholding a disciplined and well-balanced life is a quintessential element of life at PHIS.
At Pledge Harbor, the morning starts with a walk or jog around the campus before students start getting ready for the day.
This simple routine of physical exercise helps the students energise their mind and absorb all that is taught to them by the faculty throughout the day. The discipline and habits that are instilled in the students will contribute to the success in their future endeavour.
