Fatema Kabir passes away
Fatema Kabir, and activist and wife of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee President Shahriar Kabir, passed away early yesterday, while undergoing treatment at the ICU of Labaid Hospital. She was 68.
Central leaders and advisors of the committee yesterday expressed deep shock at her death.
Fatema was actively involved with all movements against fundamentalism and communalism in Bangladesh, a statement said.

She will be buried at the capital’s Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard after Zohr prayers tomorrow. Her qulkhwani will be held at Shahriar Kabir’s residence after Asr prayers on Friday.
