A teenage boy was stabbed to death allegedly by his playmates during a clash over a cricket match in Dhaka University area yesterday.

The victim -- Arif Miah, 14 -- was a factory worker living in Nazimuddin Road area.

At one stage, someone stabbed the boy as they locked in an altercation.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died around 10pm, he said.
