Illegal cable factory busted in Ctg

Detectives busted an illegal cable factory in Tin Poler Matha area of Chittagong city's Kotwali yesterday.

The law enforcers also seized a huge amount of raw materials and cables which were manufactured under the name of different companies, said police.

The factory was set up in a building, said Mohammed Farhad, assistant commissioner of the detective branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (south zone). 

The workers, however, fled the scene sensing their presence, said police.
