SELISE Bangladesh to hold its first ever multinational coding competition on August 22

Secure Link Services BD Ltd (SELISE) will be hosting its first-ever multinational programming competition -- SELISE Coding Challenge 2020 -- on Saturday. August 22. Almost 1,000 coders from Bhutan and Bangladesh are joining the competition.
Headquartered in Switzerland, SELISE has been providing digital software solutions to a global clientele since 2011. Through its setups in Bangladesh and Bhutan, the company hires and nurtures young, talented individuals by giving them an opportunity to build digital platforms for some of the top companies across the world.
SELISE Coding Challenge 2020 is an online programming competition that aims to give students from engineering and IT departments a chance to prove their skills by solving complex algorithms. The problems have been set by a group of SELISE's own Technology Club, which is a self-organized group of developers within SELISE. Participants will be judged and scrutinized by the senior software engineers of SELISE. Those with the highest performance can fast-track their professional career by taking advantage of further recruitment possibilities within the company.
Aside from that, the winners will also receive exam vouchers to receive certifications from Microsoft, and internship opportunities under the mentorship of skilled tech engineers at SELISE.
The event will take place in the online platform TopH, and the winners will be announced on a SELISE webinar, hosted in collaboration with Microsoft, later this month.
The event has stirred the interests of quite a large number of participants. Until now, almost a 1000 young coders -- including those from neighbouring Bhutan -- have registered, all eager to prove their programming expertise. SELISE hopes to keep attracting bright and talented young individuals to the online platform until registration closes at the end of day on Friday, August 21.
Details of the competition guidelines have been posted on the SELISE Coding Challenge 2020 event page on Facebook.
