Netherlands keen to help Bangladesh build sustainable startup ecosystem

The Netherlands will work closely with Bangladesh to build a sustainable startup ecosystem and explore further opportunities to deepen ties in the ICT sector.

The development came at a meeting between Anne van Leeuwen, ambassador of the Netherlands in Bangladesh, and Russell T Ahmed, president of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), at the latter's office in Dhaka recently.

The ambassador appreciated the progress of Bangladesh's ICT industry in the last few years at the frontier technologies and economic transformation, said BASIS in a press release.

Leeuwen discussed a wide range of ICT trade issues, including different types of challenges and opportunities.
