BSF kills Bangladeshi in Dinajpur

Indian Border Security Force gunned down a Bangladeshi farmer and shot two others on Birampur border in Dinajpur this morning.

The deceased is Nazrul Islam, 30, our district correspondent reports quoting Hela Mong Hang, Dinajpur sector commander of Border Guard Bangladesh.

Soon after the incident, locals rescued one of bullet-hit persons and managed to bring him back to Bangladesh territory, the sector commander said.

But the body of the deceased and another injured victim still remain in the Indian part of the border, he added.
