The 27-year-old Sharmin performed the miraculous act in Bangladesh women's game with Pakistan this morning.
The off-spinner bowled just three overs in the 50-over game but took full advantage of her amazing skills, reports dailystar.co.uk
She bowled with her left arm to right handed batsman and switched to her right when left handed batsman came onto strike.
Sharmin immediately got people talking in what is likely to be a first in senior international cricket.
Former England women's cricketer Ebony Rainford Brent also tweeted: "Love it! Shaila Sharmin for @BCBtigers bowls slow left arm to right handers and right arm to left handers!! Serious skill!"
She added: "Shaila Sharmin bowling left & right handed for Bangladesh in the same over. Not seen this before with my own eyes in international cricket!"
Journalist Annesha Ghosh was impressed but even more so with her fielding ability, tweeting: "Shaila Sharmin can do everything! Apart from her ambidextrous bowling, you should see her take one-handed blinders at square-leg, too!"
Sharmin is playing in her fifth ODI for Bangladesh and has also played eight T20 internationals.
She is yet to take a wicket in international cricket, so maybe she is putting herself off as well as the batsman!
