Astro-turf being laid at Kamalapur

The installation of an astro-turf at the Birshrestha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur started on Saturday under the supervision of an Indian company named Great Sports Infra Pvt. Limited.
The installation work is expected to be completed within six months.
The 500,000-dollar astro-turf is being laid under the FIFA Goal Project–4 as Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) had earlier availed three Goal projects -- BFF House, the astro-turf adjacent to BFF House and Sylhet Football Academy, which will be opened on November 13.
