Television programmes on National Mourning Day 2019

On the occasion of National Mourning Day, reputed television channels have produced a wide range of programmes. The Daily Star brings you a compilation of some of the best television specials to watch today.

Pochattorrer Diary, a telefilm based on the Liberation War and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be aired at 7:45 on Channel i today. Helmed by Shumon been directed by Rajibul Islam Rajib, it stars Azad Abul Kalam, Rawnak Hasan and Jannatul Sumaiya Himi as the leads. The telefilm is based on Mohamanober Deshe, written by Shahid Rahman.

Also based on Mohamanober Deshe is Shedin Sraboner Megh Chilo, which was directed by Rajibul Islam Rajib. It stars Azad Abul Kalam, Rawnak Hasan and Jannatul Sumaiya Himi as the leads. It will air on ATN Bangla at 6 pm today.

The tele-fiction tilted Mriter Attohotta directed by Golam Sourav Dudul is scheduled to air today on Ekushey Television at 10 pm. The cast comprises of Iresh Zaker, Tarin, Shushoma Sarker and Shatabdi Wadud, among others.

Amader Bangabandhu will air Baishakhi Television at 10:15 am, hosted by cultural personality Shimul Mustafa. Renowned poets Nirmalendu Goon and Kaiyum Nizami are scheduled to be the guests.
