Gaan Bangla donates BDT 50 Lakh to battle Coronavirus

On behalf of the event management company One More Zero Communications and television channel Gaan Bangla, Farzana Munny and Kaushik Hossain Taposh donated BDT 50 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund yesterday, at the PM office.This is the biggest donation coming from a cultural field, after the pandemic took the entire country hostage.

Taposh, who has been been active in raising awareness against the deadly virus, mentioned that the Gaan Bangla family was inspired by how the Prime Minister always stood beside the artistes when they were in dire need, and that they were prepared to do everything needed to win the fight against the deadly virus. 

Gaan Bangla has recently revived Music for Peace in order to spread awareness and inspire the countrymen amidst the isolation period. Moreover, in cohorts with the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), the channel has also agreed to assist more than a thousand families to stay afloat during this period.
