21 petrol, crude bombs recovered

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive recovered 11 crude bombs from Debisingh area in Boalmari upazila early yesterday.

Rab sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force raided the area around 6:00am and recovered the bombs from in front of a shop. None was arrested in this connection.

In Chuadanga, police in a drive recovered 10 petrol bombs and several bomb-making materials from Machherdari area in the town early yesterday.

On secret information, a team of the law enforcers conducted a drive and seized the bombs and the bomb-making materials from near a tea stall at midnight, said Munshi Asaduzzaman, officer in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
