44th BCS preliminary exam results announced, 15,708 candidates pass

A total of 15,708 candidates have passed the preliminary test of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

A total of 15,708 candidates have passed the preliminary test of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the results this afternoon.

The preliminary exam for the 44th BCS under the PSC was held on May 27 this year.

A total 2,76,760 candidates appeared for the two-hour-long test vying for 1,710 posts in different cadres.

44th BCS preliminary exams: Over 3.5 lakh candidates vying for 1,710 posts

The tests were held in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh divisions simultaneously from 10am to 12pm.

The date and schedule of written test of the BCS exams will be published in the commission's website and by issuing press release, said the PSC.
