Pope Francis warned poverty fuelled "conflict and terrorism" as he kicked off a landmark first trip to Africa yesterday in Kenya, landing to a rapturous welcome from cheering crowds and traditional dancers. Pope Francis's five-day visit will also see him go to Uganda and Central African Republic, which has been hit by Christian-Muslim conflict.
