‘12 India Mirage jets dropped 1,000kg bombs on Pakistan terror camps’
The Indian Air Force carried out air strikes around 3:30am this morning as 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets dropped 1,000 kg bombs on terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed inside Pakistan, completely destroying them, our New Delhi correspondent reports quoting ANI which said Air Force sources confirmed the matter.
The Indian Air Force has put on high alert all air defence systems along the border with Pakistan, our New Delhi correspondent reports quoting different news agencies.
In New Delhi, the high-level Cabinet Committee on Security presided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi met at his residence soon after the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes in Pakistan.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were present at the CCS meeting.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other top officials of the prime minister's office and the security apparatus were present at the meeting, official sources said.
