Users face issues while buying online tickets from Railway website

Passengers attempting to buy online train tickets from the Bangladesh Railway website have been facing issues with new account registration and lag in ticket sales, states several reports from local users.
From around today morning, most passengers who have tried to register for a new account on the website have been unable to get their NID verified, with the website stating the error message: "The processing queue is currently full! Please try again after a while."
For others, the error message simply says "Server error occurred."

Many users with registered accounts with their NIDs verified have also faced struggles booking their online tickets. The website has made it mandatory for all users to have their NID, passport or birth certificate verified before they can purchase online tickets. However, with the website currently not accepting new registrations due to the filled queue, many local users are unable to book their tickets on time.
According to official sources, advance railway tickets for intercity lines for this year's Eid-ul Fitr will only be sold online through the official Bangladesh Railway website or smartphone apps. Tickets were officially available yesterday, April 7, and until April 11 for intercity travels. Return tickets will be available from April 15 to 20.
