A female schoolteacher was electrocuted in Palashbari upazila of the district on Friday.
The deceased, Nupur Begum, 25, wife of Moshiur Rahman, was an assistant teacher of Amalgachhi Govt Primary School.
Local said a snapped electric wire of Palli Bidyut Samity fell on the roof of a tin-shed house of one late Nazir master of the village on Friday afternoon and soon electrified the entire house.  
As Nupur along with son Mosabbir went to switch-off the power supply, they got electrocuted and Nupur died on the spot.
