Wife of former OC of Teknaf Police Station, Pradeep Kumar Das, Chumki Karan surrendered before a Chattogram court today in a corruption case.
A Chattogram court today rejected the bail prayer of former Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das, accused in Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case, in a case filed against him by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for amassing wealth illegally.
Two more murder cases were filed against former officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Pradeep Kumar Das and a few others including policemen with a court in Cox’s Bazar today.
The committee formed by the home ministry to investigate the killing of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan in police firing, is quizzing three accused including former Teknaf Police Station Officer-in-Charge Pradeep Kumar Das at Cox’s Bazar District Jail.
