At the beginning of October, Pori Moni returned to work at the film set with the film “Story of Dodo”, following her two-year-long break. The popular actress was on her way to diving back to filming consistently, however, she fell ill and had to be hospitalised after the initial four days of filming. Each year, the Government of Bangladesh provides grants to several full-length and short films. For the 2022-2023 fiscal year, 22 films received the grant, as announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on June 18.

Prasanta Adhikary’s government-granted, detective-film, “Hudsoner Bonduk” will finally see its release on December 2. The movie had originally received a grant from the government in 2012-2013 fiscal year.
