‘Live from the Living Room’ discusses COVID-19 and contemporary issues
'Live from the Living Room', a virtual show hosted by Ghulam Sumdany Don, has been spreading awareness about different subjects among the public.
The show has over 55 episodes, featuring 172 personalities, ranging from doctors, celebrities, politicians and corporate giants among others. Noted personalities like Tahsan Khan, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Shehzad Mumin, Rubaba Dowla and Nasrul Hamid Bipu, MP, among many others participated in the programme to discuss contemporary issues. The first episode featured Dr Afrin Sultana, and garnered 200,000 views across different social media platforms.
'Live from the Living Room', starting from March 28, initially aimed to raise awareness about COVID-19. However, due to the popularity and positive response from the audience, the show introduced different discussions about the technology industry, youth organisations, luxury retail industry, wedding industry, hospitality industry and many more on a regular basis. The show held discussions on health and nutrition, fitness, the upcoming recession and the emergence of e-commerce and fintech, among other subjects.
The show has been highly appreciated, raking a total of 2.5 million views on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn and over 46 thousand organic engagements. 'Live from the Living Room' evolved with the ideas and suggestions from their regular viewers. The show goes live every week on Thursdays and Fridays at 10 pm.
